Hungarian/Polish Pistol Grip Reinforcement Plates

I've spent the last few days finishing up my first production run of pistol grip reinforcement plates. They are coming out great but are taking way to long for such a simple part. My usual course of action is to design tooling to stamp out sheet metal parts but I decided it would be better to do a small batch first and "save time."

The way I thought I would save time was by using a fixture plate in the Mill to cut out the shape and drill the 3 holes.. But after that was all done I was still stuck making the square punch and a speicial V-die to bend them.

I will be adding several products to my catalog in the next few months and the easiest to make things will be coming out first as I build momentum. Also, these products are going to be pre cursors to the really exciting things I am making.
